![]() ![]() ![]() He can no longer double jump, however he can shrink in size. While being similar, Tomba does also get a few replacement abilities. Instead, Tomba will respawn at the nearest checkpoint, effectively making the game less challenging but also equally less annoying - although it’s easy to miss some events, which can make things frustrating in the rare instance you lock yourself out from reaching one. One important change is that there’s no lives anymore. There’s more NPCs to help and overall the length of the game is a bit longer. It’s mostly more of the same but differently the game’s world is slightly bigger. Just like the in the first game, Tomba 2 is a puzzle-platformer. If you read my review of the first one you’ll already get the gist of the quest-searching pig-stomping idea behind the game. But you’re not alone this time Tomba’s new annoying friend, Zippo, accompanies him. All in the name of fun. No instead, this time Tomba has to rescue his girlfriend, Tabby, from the evil swine which once again causing problems. ![]() Last week, I wrote about Tomba so this week I’ve decided to have a go at its sequel, Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Returns. The story is a bit different this time around: there’s no need to retrieve grandpa’s dragon ball, or bracelet, or whatever that was. ![]()
